Weeping Santa Rosa Semi-Dwarf Plum

Unique in the world of fruiting plants, Weeping Santa Rosa is a beautiful landscape tree, with long, slender limbs that bow gracefully to the ground. Or, the supple limbs can be easily trained to a trellis or espaliered against a fence or a wall. The medium size fruit has a dark purple skin and strongly aromatic, richly flavored, red-streaked flesh – very highly regarded in taste test for its sweetness and flavor. Harvests about two weeks after Santa Rosa. Discovered as a bud mutation of Santa Rosa. Introduced in 1969.
